## What they're looking for

- Experience in analytics or a related data role, with proficiency in SQL, including joins, common table expressions (CTEs), window functions, and analysis of large datasets
- Understanding of data modeling practices, including fact and dimension tables, star schemas, and related approaches to organizing reliable data
- Ability to translate stakeholder questions into clear analytical deliverables, gather requirements, and improve dashboards based on feedback
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and careful attention to detail
- Experience working with Finance, Sales, or Go To Market (GTM) data is a plus, especially in a Software as a Service (SaaS) environment, with familiarity with metrics such as annual recurring revenue (ARR), retention, subscriptions, or customer cohorts
- Experience with BI or AI tools such as Hex, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar platforms is a plus, exposure to dbt and enterprise data sources such as Salesforce, Stripe, or NetSuite is also valuable
