## About the role

The Advisor Experience team builds bespoke solutions for financial advisors to grow and sustain their business, starting with a new secure messaging experience. As a Senior Software Engineer with a frontend emphasis, you will be the primary owner of the team’s user interface layer — crafting modern, performant, and intuitive experiences that financial advisors rely on daily.

## What they're looking for

- You have a B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- You have 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with most of that time focused on frontend development
- You have deep experience with at least one modern frontend framework (React, Svelte, Vue, or similar) and genuine curiosity about how they work under the hood. Experience with Ember.js migration is a strong plus
- You've built and maintained component libraries, design systems, or shared UI infrastructure — you care about reusable, well-structured code that other engineers actually want to use
- You're comfortable navigating a backend codebase when needed — reading and contributing to server-side code in Java, Node.js, or similar
- You have a strong intuition for frontend performance and know how to diagnose and resolve issues across the rendering and bundling pipeline
