## About the role

We are seeking to hire a talented and motivated NPI Alignment Engineer to work closely with our design teams and contract manufacturers in developing precision optoelectronic alignment equipment. This person should have in-depth experience in micro-optic assembly techniques and equipment with a heavy emphasis on active alignment.

## What they're looking for

- 5+ years experience developing custom designed optoelectronic active alignment equipment and alignment processes
- Hands-on experience developing and debugging active aligner hardware and processes
- Hands-on experience creating and modifying alignment sequences in custom equipment GUIs
- Experience optimizing processes for cycle time, yield, and performance
- A strong understanding and comfort of geometric optics and mechanical alignment hardware
- Experience specifying and developing original alignment techniques and algorithms
