## About the role

Our mission is to build a reliable platform and partner for backbone American businesses. As Affiniti's first dedicated compliance hire, you'll work directly with the Head of Legal to build and run the compliance infrastructure behind our SMB financial operations platform.

## What they're looking for

- 1–4 years of experience in compliance, risk, or legal operations, preferably at a fintech, bank, or financial services company
- Familiarity with KYC/KYB, BSA/AML, sanctions screening, and transaction monitoring frameworks. Experience preparing SARs or regulatory filings. We are passionate about compliance and hope you are too!
- You understand the sponsor bank / fintech program manager dynamic. Bonus points if you've lived it
- Detail-obsessed and organized. Strong written and verbal communication
- Experience at an early stage hypergrowth startup
- Comfortable with compliance tech: KYC platforms, transaction monitoring tools, case management systems. Any compliance related certifications are a plus
