## About the role

Our mission is to build a reliable platform and partner for backbone American businesses. As Affiniti's first dedicated legal operations hire, you'll work directly with the Head of Legal to build and run the contracting, vendor management, and internal systems behind our SMB financial operations platform. ## What they're looking for

- 1–4 years of experience in legal operations, commercial contracts, or as a paralegal or contracts manager, preferably at a fintech, SaaS, or financial services company
- Hands-on experience drafting, redlining, and negotiating commercial agreements (customer, vendor, NDAs, referral/partner agreements). We are passionate about getting the details right and hope you are too!
- Comfortable using AI tools, and excited to make them a core part of how legal work gets done
- Familiarity with information security and vendor risk practices (security questionnaires, SOC 2, data protection terms). Bonus points if you've supported an audit
- Experience implementing or administering legal and business systems: contract lifecycle management (e.g., Ironclad, Juro, SpotDraft), e-signature, or ERP/procurement tools
- Detail-obsessed and organized. Strong written and verbal communication
