## About the role

As the Head of Expert Marketplace / Technical GM, you'll own AfterQuery's expert marketplace strategy, acquisition, activation, matching, retention, and quality, leading the team responsible for expert sourcing, onboarding, and staffing. You'll build scalable supply systems across domains, partnering with Engineering on requirements for applications, assessments, matching, and automation, and setting the metrics and cadences that track staffing speed, conversion, and quality.

## What they're looking for

- Experience building or operating a marketplace, talent network, labor platform, recruiting system, expert network, or contractor supply function
- Strong product and systems thinking, with the ability to design scalable processes across complex workflows
- Technical enough to partner deeply with engineers on product requirements, roadmap tradeoffs, and implementation priorities
- Strong analytical intuition around funnels, liquidity, activation, matching, conversion, and quality signals
- Experience managing operators or cross-functional teams in a high-growth environment
- High ownership, strong communication, and ability to operate in a fast-changing environment
