## About the role

You have taken an autonomous product through commercialization by creating an executable product safety roadmap and built the team to drive the execution. You will lead AIM's product safety function for autonomous earthmoving machines by defining safety framework, safety concepts, articulating requirements, and guiding regulatory certification to scale commercialization. You have demonstrated experience in launching safety-critical robotics solutions with close partnerships with the end customers.

## What they're looking for

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Robotics, or a related field
- 10+ years of safety engineering experience in robotics or complex electro-mechanical systems including demonstrated ownership of a full product safety certification cycle
- 5+ years building the product safety team
- Expertise in distilling standards such as ISO 17757, ISO 19014, ISO 13849, IEC 61508, ISO 26262, or SOTIF
- Solution oriented individual with strong problem solving skills who is able to evaluate complex problems and guide teams to a working outcome
- Experience leading and building safety teams, with the ability to attract, develop, and retain strong safety engineering talent
