## About the role

Aledade is seeking a Senior Counsel to join our Privacy Team, reporting to our Privacy Officer and Associate General Counsel. The ideal candidate will work independently to advise on privacy risk, own key privacy verticals end-to-end, and serve as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders on evolving privacy and AI regulatory issues.

## What they're looking for

- J.D. and active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, in good standing
- Minimum of 6 years of total legal experience, including at least 2 years at a law firm with substantive privacy or healthcare regulatory work
- Prior experience advising healthcare organizations or clients on privacy, regulatory, or compliance matters is required
- Working knowledge of HIPAA and other U.S. privacy laws applicable to healthcare entities, familiarity with emerging state and federal AI laws is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and exercise sound judgment with limited supervision
- A self-starter mindset with a genuine willingness to take ownership of projects and privacy verticals, rather than waiting for direction
