## What they're looking for

- Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geomatics, Geography, Surveying, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 1–3 years of experience (QC Engineer I) or 3–5 years (QC Engineer II) in geospatial data QC, map production, GIS analysis, or a related quality/annotation role
- Experience working with geospatial data formats (e.g., shapefiles, GeoJSON, KML) and coordinate/projection systems
- Familiarity with GIS tools (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) and/or LiDAR/point cloud viewers
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle spatial or geometric inconsistencies in large datasets
- Comfort working with large datasets and defining repeatable, data-driven QC processes
