## About the role

This role is remote in the United States, with a preference for the East Coast. The Associate Counsel, Employment, will be a trusted legal advisor on employment and labor-related matters, including but not limited to employee relations, recruiting, benefits, people operations, disputes, policies, and other responsibilities.

## What they're looking for

- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and admission to, and good standing with a state bar,
- Minimum of 3+ years’ experience advising clients on employment and labor-related matters either in-house or with a nationally recognized law firm (or a combination of the two),
- Energetic, authentic, and friendly with a great sense of humor, capable of displaying strong negotiation skills and the ability to support difficult positions in a firm and patient manner,
- Effective communicator, able to interact with internal and external professionals of all types and backgrounds
