## About the role

We are looking for a Principal Financial Analyst to serve as the dedicated Finance Business Partner to Altana’s Technology organization — spanning R&D, Implementation, Product, IT, and InfoSec. In this high-impact role, you will be the financial engine that keeps our largest cost center running efficiently and transparently, translating complex technical spend — from cloud infrastructure and AI tooling to headcount and vendor contracts — into clear, board-ready insight.

## What they're looking for

- Strong financial modeling skills in Excel and at least one EPM/planning platform, SQL proficiency to pull and analyze data independently from a data warehouse is a plus
- Active and enthusiastic user of AI tools in your day-to-day workflow — for modeling, analysis, automation, or productivity — with a genuine commitment to building AI-augmented finance workflows
- Familiarity with ERP, CRM, and HRIS/workforce planning tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, MBA a plus
