Altera is seeking two Data Scientists to support a growing portfolio of AI and business intelligence initiatives. The role will combine data science, generative AI, analytics engineering, and visualization to turn complex business requirements into practical, scalable solutions that improve forecasting, planning, reporting, and decision-making.

## What they're looking for

- Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Operations Research, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field completed by the start date
- 1+ year of relevant experience demonstrated through internships, co-ops, research, academic projects, or professional work
- Proficiency in Python and SQL demonstrated through coursework, internships, research, or personal projects, with the ability to learn new data and AI tools quickly
- Experience with statistical analysis, machine learning, data visualization, or business intelligence through coursework, projects, or internships
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large and complex datasets
