## About the role

Ambience is building AI systems that help clinicians deliver better care. At the heart of that work is our clinical AI team: physicians and other clinicians who build, evaluate, and refine the AI that generates clinical documentation used by health systems across the country.

## What they're looking for

- Physician (MD or DO) who completed residency and has practiced clinically
- 3-5+ years at a tech company after (or alongside) clinical practice
- Has managed formal direct reports at a tech company
- Technically fluent: some coding ability, comfortable with AI concepts, and able to understand and review what your ICs are building. Hands-on LLM product experience (prompting, evaluations, error analysis) is a strong plus
- Strong executor: reliable, organized, and proactive. People trust you to own things end to end
- Comfortable with ambiguity: our problems are fast-changing and rarely arrive well-defined
