## About the role

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer is the technical backbone of our growth and bid process. You will own bill of materials (BOM) costing, run comparative analysis across designs and suppliers, and serve as the technical point of contact for post-award execution. You will read engineering drawings, interpret requirements, build out BOMs, and produce CAD as needed to support feasibility and cost work. You do not need to be a design engineer.

## What they're looking for

- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, supply chain engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and military and aerospace specifications
- Ability to build accurate BOMs from drawings and requirements
- Strong understanding of common manufacturing processes including CNC machining, casting, forging, sheet metal fabrication, welding, and surface treatments
- Working proficiency in CAD
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
