## About the role

We are hiring a Commercial Lead, Energy Markets to identify where our transmission network can create the most value and turn market signals into actionable development opportunities. You will work directly with our founders and the Origination, Development, and Engineering teams, taking ownership of our market model, opportunity pipeline, and portfolio recommendations.

## What they're looking for

- Strong quantitative modeling skills: fluent building and maintaining financial/market models, plus the ability to wrangle messy public and proprietary data programmatically (Python, SQL, or equivalent)
- Familiarity with US wholesale power markets and the interconnection process — ISO/RTO market design, LMPs and congestion, and the generator interconnection queue (cluster studies, FERC Order 2023). Understanding of utility and ISO/RTO tariff filings and rates
- Renewable and conventional power generation, energy storage, and related energy infrastructure
- Datacenter or large industrial load development and power procurement (hyperscaler demand, co-location / behind-the-meter structures)
- Transmission economics and planning, ideally including HVDC, nodal/congestion or basis analysis
- Transmission interconnection submissions, utility transmission RFP responses
