## About the role

We're hiring a Founding Engineer to help build Andco from the ground up. You'll own meaningful parts of the product and stack, moving from customer problems and product decisions to system design, backend services, data models, integrations, and polished user experiences.

## What they're looking for

- Strong generalist engineering ability and experience shipping production software across more than one layer of the stack
- Solid backend and system design skills, including data modeling, APIs, reliability, and clear tradeoff thinking
- Ability to build product UI in React/TypeScript or a similar modern frontend stack
- Product judgment and comfort turning ambiguous customer needs into simple, maintainable solutions
- Ownership in a fast-moving environment: you can scope work, make decisions, communicate tradeoffs, and finish what you start
- Comfort with workflow-heavy B2B products where correctness, speed, and clarity matter
