## About the role

You'll work across a couple tightly coupled areas. We're flexible on entry points and will match scope to strengths.

## What they're looking for

- At least 3 years of experience in platform, infrastructure, or backend engineering, preferably at a high-growth or AI-native company
- Strong fundamentals in service-oriented architectures, networking, and systems design. You can reason about how data and traffic flow through a distributed system and what breaks first
- Proficient in TypeScript, with hands-on experience operating production services on Kubernetes
- Proven ability to take ambiguous goals from prototype to production, using customer feedback and operational data to drive product and architectural decisions
- Strong code and data modeling skills — clean, scalable, and easy for the next person to extend
- Take a product-focused approach to platform work. You measure success by whether the engineers you serve actually love and adopt what you built
