## About the role

Apex is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Space Simulation Test Engineer specializing in environmental testing and checkouts. Candidates should have extensive knowledge of vibration & shock testing, thermal cycling & TVAC testing, EMI/EMC testing, and pneumatic pressure testing. This candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our space systems and supporting components through testing procedures. ## What they're looking for

- U.S. Persons status is required as this position needs to access export-controlled data
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of experience in environmental testing within the aerospace industry
- Strong knowledge of aerospace testing standards, protocols, and regulations such as MIL-STD-461, GSFC-STD-7000, SMC-S-016, MIL-STD-810, etc
- Experience with operating and maintaining environmental testing equipment
- Experience and understanding of instrumentation used during environmental testing (i.e. thermocouples, accelerometers, DAQ’s, etc.)
