## About the role

We're seeking a Fraud Analyst to serve as the founding member of our risk team. In this role, your primary mission is to protect our business infrastructure, secure our payment ecosystem, and defend the platform against direct financial scams and payment abuse. This is a unique opportunity to build fraud prevention strategies and rules-based systems from the ground up.

## What they're looking for

- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline
- 1-3 years of experience in fraud operations, trust & safety, payments risk, or chargeback/dispute operations
- Highly tech-forward with demonstrated experience leveraging AI platforms (like Claude) to analyze information, structure logical workflows, and scale your daily output
- Proficiency in SQL for querying databases independently, combined with advanced Excel capabilities for deep-dive transactional analysis
- Highly autonomous, comfortable navigating ambiguity, and excited by the challenge of building scalable processes where no prior playbook exists
- Strong foundational understanding of digital payment networks, merchant-side credit card processing, and standard chargeback mechanics
