## About the role

The Commodity Manager is responsible to develop Arista’s commodity strategies for Thermal / Heat Sinks (experience with Front end Power Supplies is a plus) in order to drive time to market, continuity of supply and meet cost reduction initiatives. ## What they're looking for

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations or Engineering required, Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a networking environment (preferred), electronics or electrical, purchasing, commodity management and materials management positions. CPIM, CIRM, and/or C.P.M. desired
- Excellent Program and Project Management Skills
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Process Variation Reduction (Six Sigma) concepts and tool sets as they relate to materials management
- Utilize strong team building abilities to lead cross-functional process improvement teams and lead change within the organization. Ability to coordinate cross-site, multi-functional objectives
- Ability to interface and positively influence at all levels through excellent communication skills
