## About the role

The EOS Platform Independent (PI) Layer 2 and network services team is responsible for building innovative and scalable solutions in the areas of Layer 2 protocols including 802.1X , LACP, MACsec , Multi-chassis LAG (MLAG), STP, and network management and security services such as AAA (TACACS/RADIUS), DHCP , DNS , IP Locking, Logging, SNMP, SSH/OpenSSL, ZTP etc.

## What they're looking for

- BS in CS/EE/CE + 3 years experience, an MS + 1 year experience, a Ph.D., or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency in C or C++ and Python
- Software development experience with Linux
- Understanding and ability to apply software engineering principles
- Strong problem solving and software troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a small team environment
