## About the role

This role is based in our San Francisco or New York City office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. ## What they're looking for

- 6+ years of experience in software engineering, forward deployed engineering, customer engineering, solutions engineering, implementation engineering, or a similar technical customer-facing role
- Strong coding and systems-thinking skills, with the ability to move from whiteboard to production
- Strong understanding of product development and engineering workflows, and familiarity with the systems those teams use to plan, build, ship, and debug software
- Experience building or integrating software across APIs, event flows, data models, permissions, automation, or agent-based workflows
- Strong technical judgment: you know when to customize, when to simplify, and when to push for productization
- Ability to work directly with customers and internal stakeholders without heavy structure
