## About the role

As a Staff Software Engineer, Platform , you will play a critical role owning and evolving the strategy, architecture, and governance of our release and configuration systems across all environments. You’ll be a senior individual contributor on the Platform Engineering team, focused on the critical layer between CI systems and production. You’ll build the tooling, workflows, and safeguards that make releases reliable, scalable, and easy for every engineering team.

## What they're looking for

- 🌟 5+ years of experience building platform systems, infrastructure, or developer-facing tooling
- 💻 Strong software engineering skills (TypeScript or similar), with a track record of building internal tools, services, or frameworks
- 🏗️ Experience leading or heavily contributing to shared engineering platforms, with meaningful hands-on implementation
- 🔧 Deep familiarity with CI/CD systems as platforms—you’ve built on top of them or extended them programmatically
- 🐳 Strong understanding of containerized systems (Docker, Kubernetes) and modern deployment architectures
- ☁️ Experience building systems on AWS, especially in multi-environment, production-scale contexts
