## What they're looking for

- 5+ years in People Operations or HR Operations, ideally at a Series B-D startup
- Experience with HRIS systems and PEOs, migration experience is a plus
- Solid grasp of multi-state employment compliance
- Builder's mindset – you delight in improving messy process to get to better outcomes
- Low ego, high ownership — you're comfortable doing the work and not just directing it
- Comfortable operating in the gray — we believe in low(er) process and high judgment, so we don't have rigid policies for every case. This role requires applying good judgment and care when the answer isn't obvious
