## About the role

Take technical ownership of assigned sub-systems , covering technical solutions, scope, quality, compliance, cost, and delivery from development through to production. Lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary engineering team across electronics, firmware, and mechanics, planning resources, prioritising work, reviewing designs, and making technical trade-offs.

## What they're looking for

- 8+ years of engineering experience in product development, ideally with a background in firmware , and experience leading engineers or technical teams
- Strong technical understanding across electronics, firmware, and mechanical systems , with the ability to review designs, provide technical feedback, and make engineering trade-offs
- Experience developing physical products for serial or high-volume production , from development and testing through industrialisation and production
- Experience with project execution and engineering planning , including resource allocation, prioritisation, milestones, and Agile ways of working
- Solid people and communication skills , with experience mentoring engineers and working across engineering, product, manufacturing, suppliers, and other stakeholders
