## About the role

The Sr. Director of Engineering will lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team (40+) responsible for both people management and project execution . Most of your time will be focused on project execution. In this role you will lead a team focused on developing new products by working closely with the Product Management team on customer-focused solutions . The Sr. Director of Engineering reports to the Vice President of NPD and Inno v ation Engineering. Own hiring, onboarding, and succession planning for your team

- 15 + years of experience in delivering customer focused solutions and products at volume (areas of relevance are robotics, IoT, mechanical , embedded systems, and electronics )
- Experience in managing large global engineering engineers from multiple disciplines executing a diverse set of projects
- Develop and mature modern processes that drive effective execution while ensuring reliab le products
- Ability to motivate people and create a safe work environment
- Excellent communication skills across organizational levels
- Ability to think wholistic and contribute to strategic planning
