## About the role

Since Axiom Space is a very complex work environment, we are looking for a passionate, high-energy Software Engineering Intern who is eager to learn from and be mentored by experienced software engineers. This role supports the design, development, and testing of software across Axiom's spaceflight hardware and ground systems programs. Assignments may include flight or embedded software, ground software tools, or simulation and modeling software, depending on program need.

## What they're looking for

- Rising Junior, Senior, or Graduate student (MS/MA or Ph.D.) pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Coursework or project experience in one or more programming languages (e.g., C, C++, Python, Java)
- Exposure to version control systems (e.g., Git) through coursework or personal projects
- Familiarity with basic software testing and debugging practices preferred
- Prior internship, co-op, or hands-on project experience (e.g., coding club, hackathons, personal software projects) is a plus
