## About the role

You’ll work on a small team building high-performance, mission-critical devices with low-latency communication requirements. Axon has a portfolio of robust imaging and communication products that help law enforcement do their jobs and keep people safe every day. In this role, you’ll develop embedded networking firmware for Linux- and Android-based platforms.

## What they're looking for

- 5+ years of experience building software for Embedded Linux or Embedded Android
- Strong programming experience in C/C++ and/or Rust
- Experience building and optimizing performance-sensitive or real-time systems where latency and reliability matter
- Experience working with networking, connectivity, or communication protocols in production systems
- Systems-level experience building software for resource-constrained or connected devices
- Track record of partnering across software and hardware to solve complex systems-level problems
