## About the role

As Axtria grows its Japan operations, we are seeking a pioneering leader to serve as our Director of Commercial Analytics. This is a rare opportunity to shape the very foundation of Axtria's presence in Japan — not just as a service delivery lead, but as the face of the company in one of the world's most complex and rewarding pharmaceutical markets. You will own client relationships, navigate Japan's unique regulatory and cultural landscape, and build a high-performing local team from the grounds up.

## What they're looking for

- Serve as the primary relationship owner for Axtria's existing and future pharmaceutical clients in Japan, ensuring delivery excellence, deep satisfaction, and account growth
- Translate client needs into impactful data and analytics solutions, in close partnership with Axtria's global delivery and technology teams
- Lead senior-level conversations on commercial analytics strategy, including but not limited to sales force effectiveness, market access analytics, KOL/HCP targeting, data management, AI enablement
- Proactively identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts and support new business pursuits across Japan
- Represent Axtria externally as a trusted thought leader in pharma data and analytics across client organizations, industry forums, and regulatory bodies
- Engage with key Japanese industry associations (e.g., JPMA), regulatory authorities (e.g., PMDA, MHLW), and academic/research institutions as relevant to Axtria's growth agenda
