## About the role

As our Senior Product Designer (Growth), you will own design across the surfaces that shape how users onboard, activate, convert, and grow with beehiiv — onboarding, activation, conversion, expansion, and retention. You’ll start by taking over our early onboarding journeys, bringing a fresh, experimentation-first lens to some of the highest-leverage moments in the user journey.

## What they're looking for

- 5+ years of experience as a product designer, ideally with meaningful time spent on growth, activation, lifecycle, or monetization surfaces (not just core product/feature design)
- A track record of designing for experimentation — comfortable scoping A/B tests, phased rollouts, and iterating quickly based on quantitative results, not just qualitative feedback
- Ability to take a vague, high-stakes problem (reducing churn, clarifying a downgrade flow, improving activation) and turn it into a crisp, testable design point of view
- Excellent communication, listening, and writing skills — you can clearly explain design rationale and trade-offs to cross-functional stakeholders, including leadership
- Ability to read and analyze data, and use that to come up with hypotheses and inform your design decisions
- Prior experience in the newsletter/media/publishing/SaaS industry is a plus
