## About the role

Schemas is the layer where our customers model their data. It’s a codeless configuration system powering all of Benchling's applications, representing a software abstraction around scientific data and processes. This system enables Benchling to ingest and store data at scale. You own the foundation that the rest of the product, and other Benchling teams, build on.

## What they're looking for

- Ability to think in systems. Understanding what a customer wants and how that might impact various aspects of our product is essential
- Demonstrated ability to have a long term vision and ship incrementally along the way
- 6+ years of product management experience
- Experience with providing technical solutions to internal developers and external customers
- Demonstrated ability to explain technical concepts to customers and executive leadership
- Experience in B2B SaaS or Developer Platform industries preferred
