## About the role

The Sponsor requires a highly skilled, expert programmer experienced in developing middleware services to integrate diverse data holdings via various system APIs. The candidate will work with a small team where other developers have a different focus. This platform will support various custom front ends with a focus on linking to original source documents, capturing relevant structured information, securing it & enabling collaboration with a single common data repository.

## What they're looking for

- 1. Demonstrated on-the-job experience providing system engineering & systems architecture support for enterprise class systems such as the ability to conceptualize & document system requirements & develop System Concept of Operations
- 2. B.S. in Software Systems Engineering, Computer Science or comparable field or equivalent experience
- 3. Demonstrated on-the-job experience developing middleware services to utilize system APIs to integrate data
- 4. Demonstrated on-the-job experience with JSON, XML, OWL and RDF data representation formats
- 5. Demonstrated on-the-job experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) to include RESTful APIs
- 6. Demonstrated on-the-job experience with Java and HTML as well as JSP, JavaScript, C or Eclipse Development Platforms
