## About the role

We are seeking an experienced and highly accomplished Senior Derivatives Trader to join our growing trading organization in New York City. This role will play a critical role in building and scaling BitGo's institutional derivatives trading capabilities and will be responsible for developing and executing sophisticated trading strategies across digital asset markets, managing significant risk exposures, and identifying opportunities to generate attractive risk-adjusted returns.

## What they're looking for

- 8+ years of professional derivatives trading experience within a leading bank, hedge fund, proprietary trading firm, market maker, asset manager, or digital asset trading organization
- Demonstrated track record of successfully trading derivatives and managing risk through multiple market cycles
- Deep expertise across derivatives markets, including futures, perpetuals, options, volatility, basis, and structured products
- Extensive understanding of market structure, liquidity, pricing, execution, hedging, and risk management
- Proven ability to independently develop and execute sophisticated trading strategies
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex market data and translate insights into actionable trading decisions
