## About the role

We are building Blitzy's Business Development function from the ground up, and this is the first people-leadership hire in it. As BDR Manager you will own the founding cohort of technically-fluent BDRs, recruit, onboard, certify, and coach them to the Blitzy standard and build the coaching layer of a world-class pipeline organization designed first contact to close. You report to the VP of Business Development and partner closely with Account Executives, Enablement, RevOps / Sales Productivity, and Recruiting. ## What they're looking for

- Experience managing or coaching SDR/BDR reps or a top-performing rep ready to lead, with a track record of developing early-career sellers
- The ability to teach a rigorous discovery motion: MEDDPICC and the pain funnel, and to certify reps on tape
- Comfort in a technical, enterprise, high-ACV motion, you can coach reps to speak credibly with engineering leaders and CTOs
- Data-driven coaching instincts (Gong, HubSpot), you inspect behavior, not just activity
- A builder's mindset — you will help create a process, hold a high standard, and iterate, low ego, high curiosity, championship mentality
- Preferred: prior SDR/BDR leadership at an enterprise SaaS or technical platform, familiarity with modern software-development concepts
