## About the role

Block's Compliance Issues Management Oversight (CIMO) program is the centralized function responsible for end-to-end governance of compliance-impacting issues across Square, Cash App, and Afterpay. CIMO provides independent oversight of the full compliance issue lifecycle, from scope determination and root cause analysis through remediation execution, validation, and closure, to ensure clear accountability, consistent processes, and audit-ready documentation across the organization.

## What they're looking for

- 8+ years of experience in compliance issues management, remediation oversight, or governance within a regulated financial services environment (banking, fintech, payments)
- Experience operating in enhanced regulatory oversight environments (regulatory examinations, audit engagements, and/or monitor interactions)
- Excellent cross-functional communication, presentation, and written skills — with a track record of driving accountability across stakeholders who do not report to you, and facilitating alignment with senior leadership
- Experience leveraging AI, automation, and workflow tooling to drive efficiency in compliance processes, with familiarity with compliance issue management systems of record and governance reporting tools
