## About the role

We're looking for a principal electrical engineer to own that system. This isn’t a narrow role. You will work across the full electrical scope of the engine, including power distribution, protection, instrumentation, and controls interfaces. These aren't separate workstreams. They're one system, and someone needs to own it end to end. If you've been the person in the room who actually knows how the whole electrical system fits together and wants to build one from a blank sheet, this is that job. Found on 1752vc Careers, the job board for startup and VC roles.

## What they're looking for

- You've owned electrical systems end to end, from architecture through schematic capture, hardware bring-up, and field validation, rather than have handed off a design and waited for someone else's test data
- You think in systems. You can move fluidly between power electronics, protection, instrumentation, and controls because you understand how they interact
- You'd rather be at the test cell debugging an issue than creating endless white papers on what could happen
- You want to set the architecture and defend the tradeoffs yourself. Not execute someone else's spec or wait for sign-off
- You're energized by ambiguity. When there's no spec to follow, you write one
- Design and build the systems that monitor, protect, and sense the engine under real operating conditions
