## What they're looking for

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline
- Working proficiency with a 3D CAD package (SolidWorks preferred), and interest in becoming fluent in fabrication drawings, tolerancing, and GD&T
- Experience with or genuine interest in metal fabrication
- A hands-on disposition and interest in seeing parts you designed get made, assembled, and tested
- Comfortable moving between different types of tasks and problems in a fast-paced, changing environment — a single week may span CAD, machining, vendor coordination, benchtop assembly, testing, and documentation
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data
