## About the role

As a member of the Accounting team at Branch, you’ll have the opportunity to shape and grow the company and business. You will be a key player of a small team comprised of high performing accounting and finance professionals that work across departments to provide financial support to senior management and department leaders to facilitate decision making. The Senior Accountant serves as a critical link between the team’s daily accounting operations and the broader initiatives that help the function scale.

## What they're looking for

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience required, high-growth payment/fintech experience a plus
- 1-2 years of financial audit and/or consulting experience preferred
- Working knowledge of US GAAP and technical accounting
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to work across large, complex datasets, SQL, Python, and other relevant experience a plus
- Demonstrated ability to learn and adopt new systems and tools quickly, spanning accounting, reporting, and AI-enabled tools and platforms, familiarity with Claude/Cowork a plus
