## What they're looking for

- Own the 12–36 month technology & AI roadmap for People and Legal, prioritize investments, publish KPIs and make technical/vendor decisions within delegated authority
- Lead enterprise-wide AI strategy: sponsor pilots, scale successful pilots into production services, enforce governance/privacy controls and represent IT in cross-functional AI governance
- Partner with People Operations and Legal Operations to co-create governance, change-control and escalation models, deliver technical guidance, runbooks and training while respecting business system ownership
- Lead the vendor lifecycle for medium/large investments: RFPs, technical selection, contracting, commercial negotiation and vendor governance
- Own vendor commercial terms and SLAs, coordinate security/privacy/compliance assessments with IT Security and Legal, run quarterly governance and maintain vendor scorecards
- Own operational readiness and post-launch support: incident response, monitoring dashboards, continuous improvement and audit readiness (SOX/GxP/privacy)
