## About the role

The Medical Director, Clinical Science will lead high-impact initiatives to advance patient care by identifying clinical opportunities, developing a relevant strategy with supporting scientific programs and high-impact scientific content to accelerate clinical adoption. Working cross-functionally and with external scientific collaborators, this role will independently lead initiatives to improve patient outcomes through the interface of patient-product evidence.

- MD, background or experience in the cardiovascular therapeutic area a plus
- Demonstrated ability to identify latent clinical and patient needs and to develop strategies and tactics to execute
- Strong publication record with experience independently developing scientific content
- Experience designing prospective and retrospective observational clinical studies
- Strong understanding of clinical trial interpretation and evidence development
- Excellent scientific writing and communication skills
