## About the role

At Brigit, our Data Science team has been dramatically scaling its impact. We’re aiming to integrate new models across several product domains over the next year and continue to iterate and optimize in the areas of credit risk and payments, where we already have models deployed. We are looking for a leader to enable continued adoption of AI-assisted development and agentic workflows in how the team builds, evaluates, documents, and ships data science work.

## What they're looking for

- 2+ years of Data Science management with a team of >3
- 5+ years of modeling/data science experience overall
- 2+ years of experience at a consumer product company
- Deep technical expertise in SQL and Python, with experience in analytics and machine learning tools (dbt, Airflow, Spark, MLflow, etc.)
- Experience applying predictive modeling to credit risk assessment, churn prediction, loss and revenue forecasting is beneficial
- A Master’s or PhD in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or Applied Mathematics) is strongly preferred
