## About the role

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer, Test (SDET) to own quality engineering and test automation for BRINC's Web Platform and Services, our cloud product suite known as LiveOps. LiveOps powers Drone as a First Responder (DFR) programs with live video streaming, teleoperation, fleet management, data management, third-party integrations, and a growing set of mission-critical capabilities.

## What they're looking for

- 5-12 years of experience in software test engineering, SDET, or quality engineering, building automated testing for web and cloud platforms
- Strong programming skills in TypeScript and Python, with the ability to write and maintain production-quality test code
- Hands-on experience building web and API test automation with Playwright, including end-to-end suites built from the ground up and reporting frameworks that clearly surface results
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, working comfortably in Linux and bash environments
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and testing distributed, service-based architectures
- Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to collaborate across engineering teams and influence quality practices
