## About the role

We're hiring a Software Engineer to build the core agent-operated platform underneath everything Cair does. A lot of what customers need starts as a one-off build for a specific account; your job is to take what works and turn it into a product: generalize it, harden it, and make sure the platform scales as we add customers. As one of our first engineering hires, you'll help shape the architecture, the agent framework, and the engineering practices that every future engineer inherits.

## What they're looking for

- Deep software engineering fundamentals: system design, data modeling, testing, and the judgment to know when to generalize something versus keeping it simple
- Experience writing Python (or similar), SQL, and React on the front end
- Working knowledge of REST APIs
- Experience with AWS and GCP
- Comfortable with Docker, both running things locally and deploying them
- Hands-on experience building or working with AI agents
