## About the role

Cala Health is seeking a UI/UX Designer to own design of Cala’s digital experiences including web and mobile. You will champion the creative vision and own end-to-end visual and interaction design. Working closely with Product and Engineering, you will create the design language that carries across every surface for one coherent experience, translate requirements into user experience flows, and own the related design documentation.

## What they're looking for

- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, related disciplines, or equivalent practical experience
- Deep understanding of native mobile design standards, including Apple Human Interface Guidelines (HIG) and Google Material Design
- Deep knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and inclusive design, and direct experience developing accessibility-driven user interfaces
- Familiarity with medical device usability engineering standards (IEC 62366, FDA Human Factors guidance) and comfort with the documentation and version-control rigor a regulated environment requires
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments, partnering closely with Product, Engineering, and QA
- A portfolio showing strong visual design sensibility and end-to-end UX work across connected platforms
