## About the role

The Sales Development Associate is Marigold's entry point into a sales career - and it's designed for someone taking their first job out of college. No prior sales experience is required. In fact, we're specifically looking for recent graduates who want to learn the fundamentals of the profession in an environment built to teach them. Your focus is twofold. First, you'll help prospects get up and running on Campaign Monitor's self-serve platform, guiding new users from sign-up to first successful campaign.

## What they're looking for

- Bachelor's degree, completed within the past year. This role is intentionally designed as a first job out of school
- No professional sales experience required - we'll teach you the craft
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and genuine comfort talking with people you haven't met
- Curiosity, a willingness to ask questions, and an interest in how businesses market themselves
- Organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a high volume of daily activity
- Coachability and a track record of putting feedback into practice - in academics, athletics, work, or activities
