## About the role

Marigold is seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Counsel to serve as a practical, business-minded legal partner to our Sales, Procurement, Finance, Security, Privacy, Product, and other cross-functional teams. Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, this full-time role will primarily lead the review, drafting, and negotiation of complex customer-facing revenue agreements and buy-side vendor agreements for a global software business.

## What they're looking for

- Lead the review and negotiation of vendor and procurement agreements, including software, cloud, professional services, consulting, marketing, technology, and other third-party agreements
- Partner closely with Sales and Revenue Operations to support strategic and high-value transactions, resolve contracting issues, and provide clear, timely guidance on acceptable risk positions
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing in at least one U.S. state bar
- Typically 5–7 years of relevant legal experience, including substantial in-house commercial contracting experience within a technology, SaaS, or similarly complex business environment
- Strong experience partnering directly with Sales on revenue-generating transactions and with business stakeholders on vendor and procurement matters
- Ability to evaluate legal and business risk, establish priorities, make sound decisions, and explain recommendations in concise, practical language
