## About the role

As a mechanical engineer on the Continuous Improvement team, you will help us design, build, and sustain groundbreaking additive manufacturing solutions ranging from new printers to new ways to clean parts.

## What they're looking for

- B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical degree
- 3+ years experience successfully taking mechanical designs from concept to production
- Strong ability to perform engineering analysis of parts and assemblies that can include: detailed tolerance, safety, thermal, stress, fatigue, lifetime, manufacturability, failure modes, and cost
- Understand product quality metrics and methods including GD&T, DFMEA, and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Experience collaborating directly with cross functional engineering teams to create engineering requirements, implement designs, and troubleshoot issues
- Experience with material selection in sheet metal, metal, plastic, and elastomers
