## About the role

As a Tech Lead Manager at Check, you'll be responsible for turning complex, high-impact problems into solutions that help over a million people get paid . You'll act as both a manager, leader, and force multiplier both by doing the work and amplifying the work of our team. Through your close partnership with product and operations, you'll define the roadmap and workflow improvements that will help our business (and the businesses that rely on Check's infrastructure) reach the next stage of growth.

## What they're looking for

- 5+ years of experience building complex software and delivering production systems end-to-end
- 1-2 years of experience leading or managing a team
- A desire to continue being hands-on and building with your team
- A track record of driving business outcomes as well as upleveling IC engineers around you
- Passion for improving engineering workflows and experimenting with AI
- While we don't have requirements for programming languages, a desire to learn our current stack is required: Python/Django, React, Typescript, AWS, Terraform, Postgres, Temporal, Github
