## About the role

As a Software Engineer on the AI Enablement team, you will contribute to the internal platforms, primitives, and guardrails that make AI a trusted co-pilot for employees across Chime. You'll work on systems like Archimedes, Bosun , and easyRAG that power internal AI assistants, developer workflows, and retrieval-backed applications. These platforms make it easier for teams across the company to build, adopt, and scale LLM-powered tools safely and effectively.

## What they're looking for

- Experience as a software engineer with a track record of shipping production-quality features in a distributed system or platform environment
- Hands-on experience working with LLMs or ML services, or strong curiosity and a demonstrated ability to ramp quickly into AI-specific tooling
- Solid coding skills in at least one of Python, Go, or TypeScript/JavaScript, with comfort working across services, CLIs, and internal tooling
- An emerging platform mindset: you think about reuse and building for more than one consumer, not just solving the immediate problem
- Familiarity with — or eagerness to learn — AI-specific engineering concerns such as evaluation, prompt and version management, observability, cost control, safety, and data privacy
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical tradeoffs to teammates and cross-functional partners
