## About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to conduct site inspections, verify construction compliance, and ensure high quality standards across commercial and institutional projects. In this role, you will perform field inspections, verify alignment with architectural drawings and building codes, and track field documentation through non-conformance reporting and punch lists.

## What they're looking for

- Inspect construction sites, building systems, and trade work (HVAC, electrical, structural, plumbing) to verify adherence to design specifications and quality standards
- Read and interpret complex architectural drawings, structural blueprints, mechanical schematics, and submittals
- Utilize field testing equipment, laser/precision measuring instruments, thermal imaging, and materials testing procedures during inspections
- Document punch lists, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and daily field reports using construction management software
- Ensure site compliance with local (New Haven/Connecticut) building codes, ADA requirements, fire codes, and environmental health & safety (EHS) rules
- Minimum Associate’s degree in Construction Technology, Construction Management, Engineering, Building Inspection, Quality Management, or an equivalent combination of experience and education
